The Cistercian monastery was built in the Vltava valley in the 13th century by Přemysl Otakar II. Today, the Golden Crown is a national cultural monument. In addition to the beautiful monastery, the paradise courtyard surrounded by a cloister is definitely worth a visit.

Šumava foothills

Klet' is the highest mountain of the Blanský Forest, which is part of the Šumava foothills. It lies 6km from Český Krumlov and you can reach it on foot, by bike or by cable car. On the top is the oldest stone lookout tower in Bohemia.
